The Candle (Hot and Black)

by Jessica   Mar 7, 2008

The fire melts the candle wax
The glossy stick, hot and black
Liquid wax drips down the candle
Alluring flame, I can not handle
Little candle, friend of mine
Lovely candle, you are divine
I pour the wax onto my skin
And the great burning sensation begins
The black candle gives me power
Burns my flesh, my blood so sour
I love the flame, the candle wax
The glossy stick, hot and black

The words you used were so powerful and every line kept me reading! You were very descriptive in this, just like you are in your other poems! Take Care!
