End It All

by Trinity Rose   Mar 7, 2008

She was never pretty,
She was never liked.
Students teased,
And called her a Dyke.

She dealt with the pain,
She pushed it aside.
Even though she constantly smiled,
She was dying inside.

They never understood,
The extent of her pain.
Until the very last moment,
When she sliced her vein.

Now they're wondering,
What school would be like.
If they had just one more day,
To make sure she was alright.

They had their chances,
And they pushed them away.
Now she's gone,
And theres hell to pay.

One lone girl,
Abandoned and lost.
Couldn't deal with the pain,
See what it cost?

With one quick slice,
She took her life.
Because of all who hated her,
She didn't think twice.

Good poem! A subject that happens to much in schools today! Great use of words! Great work!

Certainly off-beat, at least for me, but it wasn't bad
