My Only Friend

by Jini   Mar 8, 2008

Tall, Dark , figure standing there,
Whispering nightmares into my ear.
The arms of death surround me now,
As blood trickles slightly from my brow.

Tears stream quickly down my face,
As my heart begins to race.
I'm caught in this hellish dream,
Falling farther behind my team.

My horrified screams pierce the air,
No one comes, the world doesn't care.
Can they hear my helpless plead?
Will they stand there and watch me bleed?

I'm giving into death's choke-hold,
My body is numb, I feel so cold.
No one heard me scream or yell,
No one caught me when I fell.

The world is fading, I go blind,
Death's bitter words now seem so kind.
An icy hand grasps me tightly,
all goes cold, but only slightly.
I gave into death's little lie,
And he left me here to die.

This a really good but really sad poem. if you really don't have any friends, i'll be your friend. that way you wouldn't feel so alone. because i've been there done that, and i didn't like the feeling of being alone. even when people were surrounding me , i still felt that way. but i got over it
