Tricks

by Kitten   Mar 9, 2008

My family doesn't know me
No body knows me
They think they know me
They think I'm happy and hyper
Such a good little girl
But it's all fake
It's all just a great big trick
I smile
I talk
I eat
I sleep
I act like a normal girl would
But its all just a trick
And they don't know that these are just the tricks I play
The fake me I show
Always so happy and hyper
When will they see it's all a trick?
A great big illusion
Being put on right I front of there eyes

I think everyone's been through something like this at least once in their life. I know I go through it every single day. "/ This piece is a very relatable poem, perhaps to many. It's sad, short, but it says a lot. I really liked the ending :] 5/5.
