Anorexia

by Naerwen   Mar 11, 2008

Journey to peace of mind,
Watch her carve an outline,
Dehydrate her teary eyes,
Emaciated ashen ed back,
Let her dance for you once more,
Let her show you her majesty's throne,
An empty crypt she counts her bones,
Make her worthy of your loving words.

Guarded secrets in her heart,
Keep her hostage in the dark,
Unspoken conversations taped,
So she replays them in her head,
What makes her feel so insecure,
Are the things you make her do for you,
A blurry photograph sits on her lap,
Reminds her of a day she snapped.

Only but a sad little maiden,
Lost inside the dead rose hedge,
Continuous cuts with little red lines,
Protruding spine licks the black,
Silently she wonders and misplaced,
Can't see the silver stars past the fort,
Towering over her tiny white skeleton,
She watches her entirety melt slowly.

Today a princess took the throne,
While slipping quietly away atoned,
A precious porcelain crown she wore,
But it would shatter if a stone was thrown,
Across her body every little digit shown,
When perfect intentions have gone to far,
She'll fall again but not get up,
Cause her body failed and her heart just stopped,
Now she rules the realm of the ghostly forgo ts.
