I, The White Rose - Haiku verse

by Rich   May 21, 2004

No end to my pain
I still suffer in silence
Bottled emotion

I'm an open wound
My life is ebbing away
I cease to live

Staring at the sky
I swallow my crimson life
Copper perfection

No one to turn to
I am alone once again
I keep my mouth closed

The wilting white rose
Asks only to be watered
Your love has dried-up
