Faded Love

Our love was once so strong,
Yet, over time it has weakened,
We thought that we had something
That would work despite the distance.

But the love we once felt,
Has faded into the dark of night,
The flame that once burned so bright,
Has now flickered and died.

You once told me,
'Saya jangan mau patah hatimu,
I don't want to break your heart'
Yet, my heart has been broken.

I once believed that you loved me,
But I know now that it wasn't true,
No matter what you might try to say,
I was never good enough for you.

    Hey hun..
    so sorry not been on here recently had loads happening!! but like your poem! its strange some poems ie mine you lol you read and you can tell they aint written om how tht person is feeling at this time if you know what mean and then you get some like this one and you can tell its been written how someone is actually feeling it and experiencing it now.. so i say if its sometihng your going through now then just try and go with the flow because youll look back and think you did me a favour by not being with me no more!! i know it sucks feeling but youll see after awhile itll be ok sweet.. but really like poem and keep writting it all down and well done xhx
