Too Precious

by Gabba Gabba Hey   Mar 13, 2008

"Wait till you get older, then you'll see the truth.
The lines on your face will tell you,
Life isn't worth all the battles we face.
But never do what the fools do.
Life is too precious.

"Beauty is only skin deep, so is hurt,
and with age we will lose their feel.
We should mourn them, but not love, loss, or hate
for these are too dear to make heal.
They are too precious.

"Hope found inside is more than powerful,
though getting others' is no fault.
Never lose the will to find your own peace,
for depression is the hearts' cult.
That is not precious.

"Listen to me child, for the end comes.
In death only one thing matters,
you will have to find that out for yourself.
Just don't hold onto the tatters.
You are too precious."
