Dreaming of Winter

by Curtis Ayukawa   Mar 15, 2008

Dreaming of snow on a bright sunny day,
Why can't the blue skies just go away.
School is hear and we must go,
Why oh why will it not snow.

School bells ring on a clear September day,
Why won't the blue skies just turn to grey.
A sense of dread hangs above your head,
You feel a longing for a warm comfy bed.

Birds chirp and wind blows on a wondrous day,
Thoughts of hot chocolate and a snow covered sleigh.
Seasons of summer, spring and even fall,
Some people enjoy them, but you dislike them all.

But now it's too late we must move on,
You sit in class and fight back a yawn.
It's only September on a clear sunny day,
Why can't winter come and summer go away.

You dream of winter on a long summer's day,
You hope it comes soon, to god you shall prey.
But School is hear and we must go,
For now you only dream of that marvelous snow.
