Why is everything that my eyes see
different than what everyone tells me
although i know they are probably right
nothing is won without a fight
my mind agrees with what the people say
but my heart stays and tells me its okay
but i should be the only one deciding
which one is telling the truth
and which one is lying
Many people say its oblivious or blind
they tell me to look around and be smart
but how can i listen to everyone and my mind
without listening to my own heart?
