It's amazing how much can change in a year
Now having hate, instead of loving so dear.
A year ago from today a relationship was created
soon ending, the cause not being stated
If only i knew the things that would take place
Maybe then i would display a different face.
A year ago from today, i was the happiest i ocould be
So in lvoe, th end was oblivious to me
I was fooled, tricked, played with like a toy
That is when i learned emotions can be controlled by a boy
A year ago from today i could not picture me here
looking at how much i have matured in a year
thinking of all the events, even some that i regret
and realizing this past year
is one i will never forget.
