Life's a struggle these days

by Marcus blake   Mar 17, 2008

All I see nowadays is problems in life
where everybody has something they want to fight
being poor must be like fate
cause all these rich people act so fake
old tradition fade way with the times
like how young kids become the center of strife
or how girls at 15 being pregnant is common
and 18 years old to smoke cigarettes isn't a problem
But getting pregnant is a being deal
like a permanent scar that will never heal
Smoking cigarettes must be fun
About as cheap as a hand held gun
When rules and codes mean nothing anymore
And people go around making more and more
How turning in 18 means getting a job
And living life seems like a whole lot
Hitting a girl must make you strong
Because you always think you're never doing the wrong
It's a lot more harder than it really seems
And going to Schools isn't anymore
Nigga's rather just end up poor
Like parents being strict on fresh little kids
For every little bad thing they did
Like when your mom cries at night alone
And you're sitting here reading this poem
Life isn't easy for anyone these days
It's a struggle just finding a way
