In the classroom

In this classroom i sit alone
away form others, on my own.

they all joyfully talked
while the teacher was trying to get their attention locked.

I'm quiet but, my attention, has he not
there is only one thing of which i thought.

to get home and lock my door
so i don't have to deal with the world anymore.

truly alone, i take out my knife
this time the reason's not to take my life.

just to be numb once again,
to have the strength of 1,000 men.

able to ignore what people say
and like nothings wrong, go through my day.

    That summed up my old life, perfectually.
    i honestly (don't wanna sound harsh) but think you have enough talent to up your game, make it a little longer, and add a few more expressive words here and there. your telling a story which has been told a thousand times, add your own twist and style, its how you get from being to from a good writer to a great writer (i'm not a great writer and never will be btw.)

    i hope that kind of helped as you asked for critism :]

    but all together, its a good little poem, just a few wee changes will help amy x
