Seasons

by Love vs Fate   Mar 18, 2008

Seasons come,
Seasons go.
where they go we shall not know.
many mysteries come to us,
many exciting things brought to us.
as the winters are cold,
as the summers are hot,
as the springs are as beautiful,
oh how i long to know.

i love all these times of the year.
i love to sit back on the ol' dusty porch,
sitting back and relaxing while listening to the sounds
of lust.

as the seasons move on and on,
i just don't know what to do,
I'm getting so old, i wish it weren't true.
Ive seen the years drag on, oh such beautiful memories.

This is a great poem. I love nature poems. I tried writing one a while ago, but I surely did not do as good as this. I liked that you didn't just talk of the change in seasons changing and leaving, but that you wonder where they go. I have thought the same things, but never really put too much thought into it. I very much liked this poem. 5/5--Favorite.
