Life

by >> Beautifully Mistaken   May 22, 2004

In that hospital room,
you open your eyes for the very first time,
you look around,
and see the world surrounding you,
not knowing what this life is about,
for you are only an innocent child.
Your very first day of school has finally come,
you pack your bag,
ready for all the excitement that you think is going to come.
Get to school,
so happy,
that you have made a new friend.
Come home and tell your mummy,
all about your exciting day,
when you first went to school.
Pack you bag,
ready for school.
Now your in high school,
all grown up,
and now able to see what life really means.
Sitting in class,
bored to death,
counting the seconds until that bell rings,
so you can go and see your friends.
Your mobile rings,
it is your mum.
She asks where you are,
and you just yell and scream and slam the phone down.
For you just don't seem to get along with your mum,
you don't want to live with her,
and practically hate her guts.
All you do that night is cry,
your best friend has just stabbed you in the back,
and stolen your boyfriend.
Your mum wont leave you alone,
and you throw things around your room.
Your life is falling apart,
and everything is going wrong,
your so angry and dont no what to do.
You pick up that knife,
and slice at your life,
leaving slits on your wrists,
not thinking of what you might miss.
You fall to the floor,
and think about when you were only little,
and never thought your life would be so short.
