The Dead Sea

by Hidden1   Mar 20, 2008

This boat is sinking.
To the deep dark depths of the ocean,
To the point of no return.
It's gone to a place where nothing is living there,
Scientist don't know it exist, they don't have a clue.
It all began when the ship lost it's sail.
There was no wind, no breeze, just the clear skies.
The boat was floating with no destination in sight.
Birds up above circled around many times.
Each one dropping hints and guiding the ship to the lifeline.
The captain thought she had it all under control.
Out of no where the ship sprung a leak.
She was used to him being there, used to him plugging the holes.
Only he left before the ship left the dock.
He said on this endless journey he couldn't go.
Forever wasn't in his eyes. He lived for the moment, yet she knew this and was still surprised.
So she sailed on the ocean front, all alone, solo.
She was used to being alone. Only he came along and her heart was in his home.
Why not sail the mysteries of the sea blue waters, who cares if he's not there to love, cherish, and adore you.
This ship was sinking long before it left the dock.
It just had to get far enough to where no one would see her take her life.
Only she's not dead, just numb under the Dead Sea,
She plunged over the edge to the deep dark cold bottom of the unknown seas.
