The death of you(My friend Haro...)

I remember when I was ten
Everything seemed so like fun and games
I was surrounded by people who loved me
But one stood out in the crowd
Haro, she was like the best person in the world

We became friends so fast
Then it turned into a bond
Of sisterhood
We always played tag
Tripping but laughing
Every second of it

We told secrets that we knew
It wouldn't get exposed
We held hand in hand
Facing our fears
Sharing tears

But then one fall afternoon
Everything seemed so fine
The leaves were falling
Changing colors
I had a gift in my hands
It was wrapped with care
It was Haro's birthday

I wanted to make this the best day we had in a long time
While sitting on the bench my legs going up and down
Laces from my shoes hanging down, I could just trip
I was waiting and waiting for her
Playing with the wrapped present
I started to open the paper of box
It revealed a glass heart that said friends and sisters
Forever

I closed my eyes while smiling
The wind began to blow faster
I then heard two cars,
I knew one was Haro's car
But there was another car coming from the left side of the park
I still smiled while looking over my shoulder
I saw Haro waving to me with her smile of life

But then the next moment when I just closed my eyes
For one second,when I opened them
I saw my best friend get hit by a reckless driver
Her older brother was like my own
He ran out of the car running to wards his little sister
I stood there, dropping the glass shaped heart
The noise couldn't beat the sound of my heart breaking

I just ran to Haro's side screaming and crying
The tears were falling and reaching Haro's lifeless body
I held her hand so tight, it seemed I was squeezing
More life out of her then she already did.
I couldn't believe it that I lost my friend
Not only that but a sister that always took care of me

I will never forget that smile of life
I will never forget how the way you always told me to hold on
I will never forget the hugs we shared
I will never forget the secrets nor forget the promises
I will never forget the beautiful silvery blue that always
Shined like the stars and the moon
I will never forget the silky of a shine long black hair

I will just never forget you my friend
I love you Haro Hanuka
I hope to meet you again...
