The thoughts of a dying mind

by Em   Mar 20, 2008

I started to drown in whispers not long ago
It was about the time when hope and faith had died
And when my nightmares started to choke me

It was about the time when you left me without a sound
When you left me outside the warmth in your heart
Alone watching the rain fall on our broken dreams

As time goes by without me I wonder where you are
I'm still searching for the light that the rain took
But I can only find heartbreaks noticed by my brain

I have forgotten how to smile but I still remember you
Now I'm no one, I'm just a shadow of your broken promise
A fading soul from a moment and a long lost memory

Then I see a light that would be warming and lovely
And a voice reaches my ears, the voice of a betrayer
But it breaks me into pieces and killing me heartless

The first chance counts the most, so why have a second?
I doesn't matter how many you've got, they'll disappear
Blowing away without the wind into dark space

I know now that God is just a imagine, a guy who doesn't exist
Preformed to get the blame cause no one wants it
And it hurts to know that all I can do now is praying for my cursed life
