Leaves in a Bundle (try to interpret)

by Anthony Duvalle   Mar 21, 2008

Searching through this shoe box of mine
Where I can keep what reminds me of you
I'm right next to you and your 1000 miles away
This is permanent and translucent
You can't hear a word I say
As I'm screaming "I love you" directly into your ear
Reach out and touch what was you
Now it's just the memory of your beautiful flowing hair
And your soft lips against mine
I could have been with you forever
But my pause button was stuck
And I couldn't find the right words to say
Now I've hit pause
Don't forget to ignore my screams
I love you but my play button is broken
Frozen in time
Wishing I had AAA batteries
