Dear Father

by Porsha Kennedy   Mar 22, 2008

Dear Father,
Did you ever love,
did you ever care.
In my life,
did you ever wish you were there.
I turned sixteen in August,
did you know.
Did you regret the day I was born,
why did you desert me ,and why did you go.
I called you a few months ago,
I got the answer machine.
I guess you looked on the caller id
and decided to let it ring.
Do you think about me,
or did i fade away like a dream.
Did you know the thought of you,
beats my heart and makes it sting.
Father why have you forsaken me,
what did i ever do.
Don't you know a part of me still loves you.
Why did you leave, I was only floor.
Was the easiest decision you ever made walking out the door.
I guess I'll never know,
this is good bye.

Sincerely YOurs,
Porsha -the
daughter you use to
kiss goodnight.
