In Bondage

by Just Sierra   Mar 22, 2008

You tied me up in words and promises,
Biting into skin, hindering this heart,
You had me fooled, deceived, my love,
When you said you had no part

But I'm a hostage to your cruelty,
Bending to your whim on all these words.
I can't explain how I lost my mind
Or to say how bad this hurts.

I have loved with all my heart
And you loved me with a blade
You pierced this beating, betrayal
To undo the life we made

In darkness, tonight, I lay
With all this love seeping from within,
You thought you broke me down to pieces,
But, darling, you only broke the skin.

I must not unravel or surrender
For hope of having you again one day
You can have your fun with me for now
But you cannot steal this love away

A/N-I wrote this at 6 AM..woke up in the middle of the night, sick and miserable, and I just had to write SOMETHING...even if it is no good.
