Every cry and every tear
I promise I'll hold you near
rest your head on my shoulder dear
Let go of the weight you carry
Let me be the one to heal
share with me all that you feel

In times of sorrow and doubt,
In times of silence and darkness...
No matter how vulnerable and fragile you may seem,
I'll be the strength you seek..
I'll be your voice when you can't speak..
I'll be your guide to bring you back here...
So hang on for dear life
you're too far from weak

A friend in me you'll always see
until the End of time I'll be
Oh! yes, This I promise thee...
