Take these wings
I don't need them no more
I don't need to fly
I can walk out this door

Without these wings
I am an angel still
I just cannot fly
And maybe I never will

Take these wings
I have no need anymore
I am fine without them
I can sit here on the floor

Without these wings

Although I can't fly
I can live for the thrill
