I know a boy
who loves a girl
an interesting story
when she becomes his world

he says love them
and let them go
that if you smile
then they'll never know

but he's breaking his rules
and getting blind
he's falling in love
with a girl who is kind

and i know she'll treat him right
if he'll just let go
he deserves the best
but he'll never know

and the girl doesn't know
how lovely she is
and how desperately he loves her
how badly he wants her his

so i am hoping that
this story of boy loves girl
doesn't break him down
doesn't shatter his world
