What's the Point About Love?

I truly believed that you weren't going to leave me.
You told me that I was the only one for you.
'You just don't understand' is what you kept telling me.
I thought that my world had fallen apart when you told me those two words:
'It's over.'
My heart sank deep inside my chest but I can't live without you.
I can barely breath without you here by my side.
Please don't leave me.
Without you here next to me, I swear I'm gonna die.
All I've been doing since you left me is cry.
I can't even sleep because all my dreams are the memories of us together.
I spend my nights crying like a pathetic fool that has nothing else to do.
I feel like an idiot for falling so deep in love.
I gave you everything and I realize now that I was being so stupid.
I was selfish thinking that you were mine and mine only.
I guess I was a pathetic fool since the start but I ended up losing you anyways so what is the point about love?

(Okay, well this has never happened to me becasue I've never had a boyfriend so yeah, but one of my friednds went through hell when her ex broke up with her, and now that I look back, I came up with a poem. yay me!)
