Lost In My Own Frustration

by Lorreign   Mar 25, 2008

Lost in my own frustration
I don't know what to do
This pain in my heart is aching
The ground I stood on has been unglued

Sometimes it seems the pain isn't there
Like I am finally over you
Then the pain comes back just as strong
And breaks my heart in two

I am so good at hiding it
Invisible to the naked eye
But when I see myself in a mirror
I see all the tears that have passed by

You have no idea how much it hurts me
When you talk about your problems with her
About the feelings you have for her and not for me
The feelings she doesn't have for you but you won't let it be

Sometimes I want to scream leave me alone if you don't want me
If only you knew I'm hurting too
But I guess you'll never know this, I'll never tell
Not until you realize the one you need is right in front of you

Seems a very much personal poem. Lots of emotions. Lines of last two stanza are little longer. Overall it's good.
