Bury You Alive

by kyrieann   Mar 27, 2008

You don't deserve a friendship,
That you never did like.
It's just a waste of time,
Telling someone else lies.

Nothing will make up,
For the scars and pain.
It doesn't matter now,
It's not like you care, you never did.

You played this game,
And your intention was to win.
Cut your throat,
See if I care.

I would have,
But that was a long time ago.
When fairytales,
Did exist.

Where our friendship,
Was just another story in a book.
I would read those stories,
To myself at night.

We were kids back then,
Now we've grown up.
Well, at least I have,
You're living a lie.

That you cannot hide,
You destroyed your own future.
And your dreams,
Just by living.

I was never in your way,
But you still pushed me down.
It's okay,
I'll stand up again.

I can't say,
The same for you.
When you fall down,
I will be there to bury the remains.

You'll try to reach your hand out to me,
But I will turn away.
I'll go on without you...

I'll leave this place alone,
Trust me.

It's better this way.
