Sweet Dreams.

by Just Keara   Mar 28, 2008

[I lay my head upon my pillow,

the day has come to and end.

but my mind is too occupied with thoughts of him;

i can not p r e t e n d.

Knowing that my head is settled on him,

Thought of everything else begin to shrink;

Just as I wonder if I'm wrong,

That's when I start to think.]

how i long to run my fingers through your hair,
and kiss your lips so tenderly, so sweet.
i wish to look at you and know you're always there,
and prove to you how much you mean to me.

to hold your hand and look in your eyes,
they are my life-long dream.
to hold you close and smell your scent,
to have everything be the way they seem.

i long to hear your heartbeat close to my ear,
and listen to your ambitions.
to watch you speak, your gorgeous lips,
how i wish to kiss them.

i'd love to lay right next to you,
put my head upon your chest.
you have no idea; you're amazing.
and by far, you are my best.

[as sleep settles into me,

my eyelids slowly start to close,

i'm about to dream of h i m,

and he has yet to know.]
