The Distance

by MissE   Mar 28, 2008

The distance pushing them far apart,
With moments left in between,
Yet they're silent
No words left to speak.

The essence has left the room,
Those distant moments are barren
And so soon.

Yet deep in their hearts,
Remains the reason they were,
But they stand in silence,
As time seems so far.

Too far away to remember,
To feel and reminisce,
Yet she held on to what still exists.

I stand in shame,
As they stand naked,
and i watch them fall,
But hold on to what may be faked...

Is that something still there?
Or was it ever
Just there?
