All Thanks to You

by Miss Megan   Mar 28, 2008

My hands are up in surrender,
you did all you needed to do.
I take all fault, the blame's on me;
and it's all thanks to you.

Now my lips will remain shut,
my words stored safely in my head.
My wall is built up stronger than ever,
I wont make that mistake again.

I let you come right inside,
feeling as if I was actually wanted.
But of course, I'm a f.uck up;
and what we had is already forgotten.

I only lied to protect you,
what you don't know won't hurt.
You came down harder on me than anyone,
when will you ever learn?

I'm not a little girl anymore;
but I don't like you either, so it's okay.
Everything happens for a reason,
so I guess it's supposed to be this way.

I'll keep my distance and let you get on with life,
I'll do whatever you want me to do.
This is what you wanted,
so it's all thanks to you.
