Your Walls Of Sadness

by Confessions   Mar 29, 2008

Stop locking yourself with walls of sadness
Your sanity is slowly turning into madness

I don't understand why you're always so miserable
There's nothing about your life that's so terrible
I know you've got your ups and downs
But it's really not as bad as it sounds

You don't know how many people would wish to be in your place
You just can't see those around you who are trying to be your solace
Most people don't have anyone there to wash away their tears
and they're forced to stand alone to face their fears

You don't realize what a bless you're in
What about all those people who go through the bitter and worst
and they can't even complain
Because they know they can't have the rainbow without the rain
They're forced to accept that there's joy but only with pain

There's the good with the bad
So stop being so sad
It's not always either your way or you either get mad
Why can't you be grateful for what you have and be glad?

See that the cup is half full not half empty
After all I just said, I really feel guilty
Because I might sound selfish & like I don't understand
But it's because I do care
That you just can't seem to find happiness anywhere
But it all lies in you
In your eyes and point of view
To see what happiness lies within you

So stop locking yourself with walls of sadness
Because your sanity is soon turning into madness
