Change... Always Delayed

Desperate for a change
But it's harder than I thought
It's not something easily taught

I started with my hopes up high
Now it all seems like a lie

Everyday I say that it's the day
The day I start new and break away
But it always gets delayed
And I watch as my dreams start to fade

It's like I'm chasing an illusion
And I always end up with a new resolution
It's not like it's something impossible
I guess it's just me not being focused enough
Which makes things stand more tough

People make it harder for me
They can't seem to understand how hard things can be

But I'm determined... I'll get there =]
