For all those who care about us, Thank you

by Confessions   Mar 29, 2008

This is a story that is to me, full of inspirations
When a man is found dead and they're making their investigations
They wonder if it a was a criminal who killed him and he had to surrender
Then they find beside his bed a newspaper and a calendar
Both dated 20 February 1984
When they found him it was 2004
Did I just hear that or is something wrong with my ears?
Apparently he's been there for twenty years
And no one has even noticed
He has no family and is divorced
He lived in a building of the poor where he wouldn't have to pay
And has been there for longer than he has intended to stay
Where he used to work the company has been bankrupt
And they thought that's why he didn't come back to work
All his life he hadn't been spoon fed with a golden fork
Maybe because he had no one to feed him first place
In his world of loneliness he hasn't known a face
He wasn't employed, he had no family and was divorced
He was the farthest thing from rich or wealthy, and to die like this I'm sure he wasn't really healthy
But worst of all, he lived with knowing that absolutely no one at all
Cares about him and he felt so small
And no one to catch him if he falls
No one to answer if he calls
Let us pray for him, and thank God for our family and friends
And hope that we're not left with such awful ends
