Innocent Heathen

by Armada the Gestalt   Mar 31, 2008

You'll never be what you were
You're just not meant for her,
Since he's known what you are
He hurt you, gave you a scar.

He said;
'No way, I won't relent
No I, shall not repent!'
She said;
'Leave now, never return
Stop now or you'll never learn!'

Poor lost innocent heathen,
Broken and injured angel,
You know
What you weren't,
You know you're not a believer.

You used to have
a faith
You believed in love,
Had that torn away
you'll never have it back,
You used to believe
So strongly and you felt
Felt wrong about it all,
Or that's
what
you
think.

You'll never have what you had
The want is driving you mad,
Listen! Why don't you try?
You're so lost you can't even cry.

He said;
'Come here, look, wait and see
Just what, you mean to me!'
You said...
Nothing, and ran,
And he said;
'Run while you can!'

You never knew how right he was,
Oh, innocent little
Stubborn son of purity you,
You ran on
Tripped and fell-
Never!
Rise again
Not ever on the inside.

You'll never walk like you could,
You didn't think that he would,
You're too weak to help her now
Even, if you still knew how.

You said;
'As long as these wings can fly
I will not, let go till I die,
With these blades, I stole me a name
Without her I can't be the same.'

Poor lost betrayed avenger,
Loose-stitch, broken-heart angel,
You know
What you still are,
You know you're still just a sinner.
