You've been gone
nowhere to be found

how could you do this
and to your family

but how can i just pretend
act like nothing is wrong
when nothing is right

i needed you
and you just walked out

innocent children
they dont know
what is wrong

they need you there
they need you at home

what is wrong with you
why cant you see
how could you be so cold
you put everyone on hold

life isn't easy
this i know

but this isnt the way
to let your feelings show

time goes by
again i cry

we've been here before
so why go back
this is not how it should be
why cant you just see

this is not about you
not even about me
it is them,
your children, so helpless

cant you see there tears
the little eyes on there faces
they dont understand
you are their mother

you are supposed to
show them whats right

but you just turn away
and walk right out

even when they need you most
why cant you see

this poem is for my sister..i need her back, but most importantly her kids do, and she doesnt understand. i love her, but she doesnt see. </3
