Paper Crows

by brie kelly wise   Mar 31, 2008

Another wave of static and we're floating on clouds
Another metal heart that didn't stand out too long
Another sunrise made out of construction paper
Another untitled document lost in a machine

We were young
We made it too easy
We had our fun
We're now leaving

Another pickup truck died on its way down south
Another bucket full of failure and lost communication
Another silver bird brought on by the clouds
Another corn field disturbed by the paper crows

We were alone
We made it hard
We were home
I'm now in your arms
