Perfection (in imperfection)

by NeferNoir   Apr 1, 2008

Lovers obsess,
inhaling cannibal memories.
Releasing hysteria,
in mock defeats.
Riveted.
Renamed.

My mind's eye,
relieving illusive requiem.
Sweet and empty,
this is our demented odium.
Penetrated.
Chained.

Realize this tears,
in lovelorn mediocrity.
Biting tongues,
permanent fallacy.
Abandoned.
Mistaken.

Porcelain eyes,
blinking to abhorrence.
Fall into despair,
the final ambience.
Reserved.
Fallen.

Dragging hearts and time across darkness,
to satisfy this abyss of stubborn aberration.
Hide your blatant flaws.
Perfection.

Wow! You honestly amazed me with your writing in this poem, it posses so much uniqueness and your choice of words is fantastic.
I enjoyed in each line, you created so effective rhythm with broken lines in which you wrote a poem.
Atmosphere is also remarkable and you expressed every emotion beautifully. I am truly impressed by dark creativity of this piece, and you said so much with it, bravo!
