Hatred (to you)

by NeferNoir   Aug 4, 2007

Black sparrow with torn wings,
sleeping for forever.
Lonely raven sings,
the arrival of grim reaper.
Patient.
Merciless.

I pull my hand away,
the candle burnt me.
Lighthouse covered in webs,
hiding it slowly.
Scortched.
Withered.

Time to go home,
burn my lungs to breathe.
Rise to the occasion,
salvation slowly fleets.
Departed.
Conquered.

Static fears,
masticate the lullaby.
Everything falls,
I watch them die.
Stop.
Enough.

Run through the fallen maze,
won't look back for fear of death.
It wasn't love that awaken me.
Hatred.
