Hanging for peace

by Perfectly Imperfect vaney   Apr 3, 2008

The Rope around her neck is tightning
Poor girl alone and helpless
pain is her destiny
trapped in a world of misery
intoxicated by drugs
numbing her mind
Her Stone heart beggining to chip away
sharp enough to cut her in every direction
crimson filling the hole in her chest
attempt to recollect herself
but the pieces dont fall into place
as hard as she may try
its all a worthless attempt
the only path that is ahead
is one filled with agony
one that will come to a dead end
with no way out
so with shaking hands
she ties the rope around her neck
slowly tightning
and doesn't hang on for dear life
but hangs for peace at last
