Human

by Ares   Apr 3, 2008

Don't ask me,
who I am.
I don't even know.
please help me,
take off my clothes.
I think better in the nude.

what makes me,
what I am.
it's hidden.
behind a fake smile.

so please don't,
ask me at all,
I can't even tell.
please take off,
all your clothes,
we can be pretty in the nude.

what makes me,
what I am,
what breaks me,
breaks me down.
it's human,
to wonder.

so I guess I have that.

Once again, you surprise me with your choice of words and subject---a very good job, rich with meaning and the like...and that does to make any poem good...good job!

I think what you meant about this poem was that we take off all the fake things on us.. The things we have, all the things we wear to show off people something..

Return back to natural state of human... This reminds me about Rousseau and his willing to return in nature...as pure as Adam and Eve were in the garden of Eden... :D

Wonderful work... I can see you as a thoughtgul person.. I am impressed. :D
