Emerald Seas

by Morgana   Apr 3, 2008

This is a rewriting of "My heaven on earth"

Deep seas of emerald green
framed by strands of jet black.
In the snowy fields
a lonely rose blooms.
This is my home
my heaven on earth.

But now I have to leave
I have to fight a war
and I shall be so far away
that I can not protect my heaven.
I can only hope that
my heaven will still be there.

But dark clouds are closing in.
The snowy fields shall be covered in blood.
Emerald seas will dry.
And crimson petals will fall
silently to the ground
because I left my heaven alone.

And as the rose withers and dies
then so shall I.
I shall wither in grief
and tremble in despair
of what is lost.
And I shall go to hell
because heaven is no more.
