To make a long day pass on by
music is what i need
i love to sing to my favorite tunes
others cries i do not heed

i like the ones that are upbeat
if only i could dance
I'd jump up on my work bench here
shakin and wigglin my pants

thats not a picture you want to see
this country boy doin the slide
all the girls with sense at all
would surely run and hide

so i guess I'm stuck, just listening to words
while I'm dancin on the inside
