The Cycle Continues

Darkness
a cold funeral shroud
moves around me
teasing me with

Light
a faux sun
taunts my eyes
forcing me into

Denial
a warm winter
pleasantly deadly
pushing me into

You
frozen fire
nothing but loss
tripping me into

Self-destruction
a final solution
running away
throwing me into

Darkness

sadly and forever,

The cycle continues

    The way you have used Oxymorons to project your inner crisis is excellent.Milton In his Paradise Lost says:
    "The mind is in itself can make heven of hell and hell of heaven"
    Your inner war does not allow you to enjoy the beatiful objects of nature and you find them quite contrary to what others feel.
    Frozen Fire and many other phrases have increased the beauty of poem and given a deeper meaning to it.
