Dear Mother

by Keilah   Apr 4, 2008

Why take his side?
Why not stand up for us?
Why must you hide?
Face to Face, yelling and debating
Silent moments, emotions never fading
Eager to leave, eager for us to be gone
Always demanding and accusing, never listening to our reasons on why we think the things YOU do are wrong.

Teenagers we are, adults youre suppose to be.
Never in my life will this ever be me,
Acting like this to MY children.
They will Love and Respect me, for I will rise them with no secret lives of sin.
But a great mother you have been.
Good times we have had
And I have learned a lot from you, your good and your bad.
I thank you for everything
And forgive you for those unspoken things.

Living in this house is stressful on my soul
Thats why Im so willing to leave at a young age, rather then wait till Im 18-years- old.
So in the event of my departure from this house
Mother please dont be sad.
Be like your husband will be, be glad!...
I know Im your baby, but for along time this baby has been tired of sleeping in the crib and crawling.
Im ready to live my life the way I want, and on GODS path will I be walking
