Tearing us apart

by J u l e s   Apr 5, 2008

She sees him so many times
Yet in her mind she still trys to deny
I heard her scream over the phone
Seen those places where she thinks she secretly alone

I have those memories of when you would tell me
How overwhelmed you were to stay with me a bit longer
Always trying to lie
Listen Hun, I may not know but i am not blind

She always feels like she will break down inside
all this madness is slowly tearing her into pieces
I just want to help you make this right
I can help you, isn't that what your asking from me?

This is not how our friendship should be
Someone else should of never come between you and me
During this night when you call me
You call me pretending as if everything is alright

As I am being put right beside him
Don't you know that inside I am dying
You just don't understand all the pain i am being put through
Even after all the times i have been there for you

She sees him many times
But in her mind she still trys to deny
She is always alone
Left inside this broken world she calls home.

^ i really can relate to these lines..it's like they're crying for help, but won't take it. and that's so frustrating, i know. and you feel helpless...

i also loved the last stanza...it's just....a very powerful way to end it.
