Waiting for some kind of release

by fragiledoll   Apr 5, 2008

Here we stand, again alone, just the two of us

Waiting, Waiting for some kind of release
Screaming, fighting, yelling, when we will find peace?
Not now, not ever, when?

Will we when its all said and done
will we when the crowd has left
will we when the children no longer play

Here we crouch, holding ourselves together

Waiting, Waiting for some kind of release
Screaming, fighting, yelling, when we will find peace?
Not now, not ever, when?

Will we when there's not one ounce of hope
will we when the bruises wont heal
will we when taking our last breaths

Here we crawl on our hands with cuts bleeding

Waiting for some kind of release
Screaming, fighting, yelling when will we find peace?
Not now, not ever, when?

Will we when the water stops running
will we when the party is over
will we when the sun stops rising

Here we lay on our backs, looking up, praying to the heavens

Waiting for some kind of release
Screaming, fighting, yelling, when will we find peace?
Not now, not ever when?

Will we when the music comes to a hault
will we when we can no longer think clearly
Will we when we throw down our weapons & surrender
our dreams
Not now, not ever, when?

Here we are alone again, untouchable.
