Funeral

by VYXSIN   Apr 6, 2008

Pews full of people
Loving family and friends
While hearts are aching badly
No one can make emends

Tears flow freely
Sympathetic words are shared
I doubt he would have know
How many really cared

All it took was one tragic event
To bring us all together
Now we have to live without him
He’s gone forever

I wish it didn’t happen
Not to him anyway
At 2am in the morning
His life was taken away

I can't imagine the pain
He would have endured
Laying there dying
Now he will be mourned

At such a young age
He was taken away
A dark sad night
A gloomy miserable day

You were only eighteen
And left a father and a mother
Everything you had
Even your brother

But time cannot turn back
Can't replace you today nor tomorrow
All that we can do is
Live our lives in sorrow
