Confession (part one)

by A Phoenyx in Flight   Apr 6, 2008

"Come hither my child." says the ancient priest.
"Tell me the sins that you do bear."
A small young girl rushes toward the priest.
She falls to her knees in front of him.

"Wise father i bear a horrid sin." she cries.
The priest pats her small head to comfort her.
"Tell me you sin here before god." he says
"And only he can say if its horrid or not."
The girl take a deep breath.

" I have fallen in love with
the son of my family's only enemy and he the same."
The priest smiles and pats her head once more.
"Ah young child you remind me of young Juliet.
Please stop your tears and worries.
Love is not a shame it is a gift."

" I know now how Juliet felt." the girl says.
"Do tell." the priest says.
"She loved Romeo, who was her enemy.
And that is me." the girl admits.
"But i don't want to be like her.
For her love became her death." the girl says.
"Her love became her death because
she was foolish and unwise." the priest says.
"Come with and I will tell you a story." the priest says
To the small young girl.
