Confession (part two)

by A Phoenyx in Flight   Apr 6, 2008

The small young girl follows the priest.
"Juliet was foolish for she let a feud
And her worries get to her.
That is what kept her and Romeo
from telling the truth of their love.
If they had told the truth they would
have saved their life's." the priest begins.

"But if you my child tell the truth
your love wont become your death."
The priest looks at the girl
who was trying to understand.
"Do you truly believe in that?" the girl asks.
"Yes i do. Our society is much more kinder
Then Juliet's was." the priest replies.

"Then i came here for nothing.
I'm sorry for wasting your time." the girl apologizes.
"Don't be sorry child.
I'm glad you came." the priest says
"Why is that father?" the girl asks.
"If you hadn't then you might have
really became like young Juliet."

( I know Confessions part one and two arnt really poems. But i was inspired to write them by my english class. We were reading the play Romeo and Juliet.)
