The Other Women

by BluEyedMemory   Apr 7, 2008

Lying in this bed next to you,
I don't want you to go.

I know what you're thinking,
In an hour you'll be fleeing,

Back to her.
Turning me blue.

I know you can't love me.
But its hard to see,

That I'm the other women
You promised her till the end.

All you promised me was a good time,
But I made a mistake and crossed the line.

I want more then sex.
I want to put my head on your chest.

I want to be the only one for you.
I'm still just the fool.

The fool who sleeps with you.
The fool who fell in love with you.

So now here comes the hard part.
Be careful I don't want you to break my heart.

Make a choice tonight.
Be mine to hold in the night.

Or go to her, and be blue.
The choice is really up to you.

All that I can say to help you see:
Love me, Chose Me, Pick Me.

Is tonight our last,
If not I'll leave you tonight knowing it was for the best.

~~This poem is just things I've been going through. The only way I know how to talk about it is to write it down.

Oh hun be careful. If you want more than a physical relationship with someone .. let them know. Nice description of your situation here. Well done
